  Joe Joe. Joseph Adams and I LOVE to rent and watch the cheapest , low budget horror films available, eat tons of popcorn and laugh ourselves into wild stupors. Never watch them without Joe. I call him Joe Woods sometimes for fun to recall a mistake I made introducing him to Tim Burton years ago. (Joe Woods is someone I went to High school with and had not seen or thought about since---it just came out.) I still remember how unfazed Joe was by my faux pas. He acted as if I had gotten his name perfectly right. Later that night he walked up to me by the pool and ask me with a wry smile, "Who is Joe Woods?" My mouth dropped as I realized what had happened, and we still get a good giggle (and I still have not run into the real Joe Woods although he lives within miles). It will be another story when I DO see the actual Mr. Woods. Joe Adams is yet another wonderful actor who has worked steadily both on stage, and in television and film.

Currently based in Manhattan, Joe too was a former resident at Ten Bungalows.  A couple of years ago Joe came out for the premiere of an HBO film, Iron Jawed Angels in which he had co-starred with Hillary Swank and Angelica Houston. I took a photo of the two which is somewhere in my NEWS ARCHIVES.  Although he had worked with Hillary and knew her, he had not had scenes with Angelica and wanted to meet her so, since I knew Angelica who was there with her husband, artist Bob Graham, Jr.  I introduced them at the post premiere party HBO hosted and just before we reached their table Joe whispered in my ear, "Its Joe ADAMS"  Seen any good horror films lately, Joe?
