I met her in the 1990's when she waved her magic wan over an old dilapidated 1920's house Tim Burton bought in Ojai, California and turned it into a lovable, livable work of art. Miss Vanilla knows the deities of detail intimately. When the photograph above was taken, just before the Grammys in 2003, I was visiting Cherry in Tyrone Power's grand old Hollywood Blvd. apartment that she now calls home.
