Michael Besman

Michael McDowall introduced me to Michael Besman in 1989. Mr. Besman was a studio executive with ambitions to be a movie producer and we ended up at many of the same parties in 1990.

Today (Dec. 2002), Michael has a hot new movie that he has, indeed, produced. It's called ABOUT SCHMIDT and stars Jack Nicolson and has just been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Picture, Drama. Oscar will no doubt take notice as well. Go Besman!
