Jip Haley

Jip and Max the cat were the only two non-humans in any of the Clock series.  Jip was by far the more cooperative subject.  Max was a tough outdoor cat that I took care of from 1982 until her death in 1993.  Jip was a pampered pup that went everywhere with Kevin.

Kevin was acting until Winona let him decorate her home and got him the cover of Architectural Digest and he and Jip changed professions pronto.

Jip has now joined Max in Pet Heaven.  I have decided to eschew pet ownership until I'm sure it will outlive me!  I grew up in the country and have buried too many pets to count and I'm weary of the heartache.  Don't hold me to this however....I am notoriously bad at keeping that kind of promise.
