Howard Zielke

A lifetime in the theater.  That was what Howard had.  I loved Howard and Barbara Zielke and they were like second parents to me in my first years in Hollywood.  We did my first play in Hollywood together.  It was "TOM JONES" and I won a Dramalogue award for my performance as 'Bliful".  And get this.....I was calling myself  Macon Scott at the time.  Howard put an end to that with his Macon Bacon jokes.  I never used THAT name again.

I loved dinner and drinks with the Zielkes.  There were many.  I took everyone I really liked to meet them until they died, first Howard and shortly after, dear Barbara.

They taught me a lot about surviving in show biz and I will always remember their many kindnesses.
