On
Friday, June 6th, Glenn helped Michelle Phillips celebrate
her 60th birthday at a party at her home in Los Angeles. Michelle
entertained 100 or so of her best friends and family and was
the proud Mama announcing, daughter Chynna's new record with
Wilson Phillips (CALIFORNIA) had entered the Billboard Charts
at #25 with a bullet and the single (GO YOUR OWN WAY) debuted
at #20.
"It truly
was like old times. Michelle was a stunningingly beautiful
and gracious hostess with her trademark fresh gardenias
in her hair."

Glenn is in a
great new movie called TO KILL A MOCKUMENTARY.
Shawna Waldron
and Jason London star in this Stephen Wallis film currently
in production. Also in the cast are Edie McGlurg, Mickey
Rooney, Tim Thomerson, Terry Scannell and Park Overall.
"It's the
funniest role I've had since BEETLEJUICE and we are having
too much fun to tell you anything more than that."

Stalker, Loiuse Beard and Glenn on stage at The Alabama
Theatre in Birmingham
|
"Louise
Beard produces this tap dance extravaganza to sold out houses
every year at Birminghams' historic Showplace of The South;
The Alabama Theater. 150 performers from three year olds
to eighty year olds dancing their hearts out in Broadway
quality costumes in front of Broadway quality sets! It was
the most wonderfully inventive and entertaining night I've
had in any theater in recent memory. I may be a little prejudice
because I have absolutely adored Louise Beard for thirty
years -- but let me tell you it was the greatest crowd pleaser
and heart warming ninety minutes I can remember."

Glenn just returned
from personal appearances in Germany and the Netherlands.
"I had a quick ten day trip to Europe and met many
wonderful people. My hosts were Andrea and Bart, a dear
couple in Holland who opened their home to me and gave me
a terrific look at Germany, Holland and Belgium. I had a
quick visit to Paris and, after all my travels, it is good
to be back at home and back on Pacific Time!"

Glenn just
returned from a trip to Tokyo with costume designer Rita
Ryack (A BEAUTIFUL MIND, THE GRINCH, Martin Scorsese's
CASINO, CAPE FEAR, and AFTER HOURS). The two were in Japan
to meet with Japanese toy manufacturers JUN PLANNING in
regards Ms. Ryack designing a wardrobe for "Pullip,"
a popular Japanese fashion doll.

meets fans at BIG SIGHT.

Glenn and Rita
made several public appearances and met with The Japanese
press.
"Masahiro
took us all over Tokyo. You couldn't have a better host!
We had a great time meeting NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
fans at BANDIT, an incredible Toy Store. On Sunday Feb
22 we spent the day at Tokyo's enormous BIG SIGHT convention
center. Both Rita and I signed photos and dolls from BEETLEJUICE,
NIGHTMARE and THE GRINCH."

Noboru
Kawakami presents Glenn with a rare gift.
|
"We
spent our last night in Tokyo with the incredibly talented
team at J.A.P. They design and create costuming for Asian
film directors as well as many top Japanese rock bands
and have a silversmith and leather works shop that produces
fantastic original pieces. J.A.P. President, Noboru Kawakami
presented me with a stunning sterling silver NIGHTMARE
skeleton reindeer sculpture. He sent two to Tim Burton
recently and they are exquisite.
Rita took a moment to model a freshly made costume in
J.A.P's upstairs workshop before we left and headed to
nearby J.A.P. BAR the watering hole owned by these talented
artists/musicians/designers. It was the end of an incredible
trip to the land of the rising sun.

Glenn spent
the week before Christmas in Tokyo!
"I saw
about as much of Tokyo as you can see in seven
days. It was amazing fun. Met many wonderful people including
the delightful Chi and Yuki. These two beautiful Japanese
girls knew very little English and I knew almost no Japanese
but we got along fabulously and were like old friends
by the time I said goodbye. Masahiro Abe was my host and
you could not ask for a better guide to seeing Tokyo for
the first time. It will not be my last visit. I'm going
back in February!"
